ECUMENICAL WORSHIP SERVICES
This Wednesday, March 3rd the service will be held at St. James RC Church, 496 Terrace Blvd., Depew at noon with a light lunch following the service. Guest speaker will be Rev. Paul Stellar. Offerings of non perishable foods and cash will be gathered to benefit the Lancaster and Depew Food Pantries. Please make checks payable to Lancaster – Depew Ministerium, Memo Line: Food Pantries.
LENTEN VESPERS SERVICE & CONCERT
Everyone is invited to the concert, which will be held next Sunday, March 14th at 3:00 PM. The Cathedral will present a program featuring Lenten music with organ, choir, and bells. A free will offering will be taken. A reception will follow in the Parish Center. Plan to attend and enjoy the music.
FINGER FOOD
The Cathedral is asking for donations of finger foods for the reception following the Lenten Prelude on Sunday, March 14th.
LENTEN DEVOTIONAL AIDS
There are a number of inspirational books and videos that can be borrowed as aids during your celebration of Lent. You may sign in for them in the sacristy and return them within one week so that others may also use them. See Bishop for details.
HOME & GARDEN RAFFLE
Tickets are available during Coffee Hour from Tom Nowak, at our Fish Fries or at the parish office for the Home & Garden Raffle, which will be held on Saturday, March 13th from 5 – 9 PM. The grand prize is a 46” LCD HD TV w/BLU-Ray Player plus a chance to win 10 other prizes (winners need not be present). Tickets are $20 each, which includes the main raffle, dinner and refreshments. This event is expected to sell out so don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets. Please turn in all outstanding tickets to Tom Nowak Today!
ANNUAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT
The 65th YMS of R Bowling Tournament will be held in Scranton, PA on Friday, May 21st thru Sunday, May 23rd. The packets from the Scranton committee have not come in but should be arriving soon. Please let Chris or Bob Giczkowski, Cindy or Dave Pecynski know if you are interested in receiving information. We guarantee a fun-filled time and most important, much Christian fellowship.

CHICKEN BARBEQUE
The annual Buffalo Veterans Chicken Barbeque will be held on Palm Sunday, March 28th at Ditondo’s Restaurant, 370 Seneca Street from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00 each and are PRE SALE ONLY. Contact Dave Pecynski @668-6838. Take out dinners will be available.
SPRING DANCE
Spring is just around the corner and the Boys of Summer are coming back! Our Spring Dance is being held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 8 – 12 PM. Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased from Roger @683-4046, Marcia @683-8644 or at the parish office @685-5766. Tickets go fast so plan on attending with your family and friends. We will once again have a get-a-way overnight stay and dinner package at Salvatore’s, also a dinner at the Asa Ransom House and many other prizes will be given away the night of the dance. Raffle tickets can be purchased from Pete @688-6596. Donations of gift cards would be appreciated.
